More Workshops
In this workshop we will create sketchbooks and journals based on historic examples of the earliest book structures. The Nag Hamadi bindings housed the Gnostic Gospels, found in a cave in Egypt in 1945. It contains a folded set of pages covered by a stiff leather cover. The book will include a ties at the top and bottom and a flap at the opening to protect your notes and sketches. Our second book includes multiple sets of pages are sewn together with a linking stitch, then covered with thin material to make a sturdy notebook that opens well.
This workshop runs 12 hours (2 days).
